First aid serves as a critical bridge between the occurrence of an injury and the arrival of professional medical help. Recognizing this, Nazareth School conducted a comprehensive and informative first aid session for its teaching staff.

The session was led by Sr. Beena Chirackal, SCN, along with staff members Mrs. Jessy Meena and Mrs. Preethi, who recently completed intensive training through a program organized by St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore.

Designed to equip teachers with the knowledge and confidence to manage medical emergencies, the training focused on the essential role of a first aider and included instruction in various life-saving techniques.

The session strengthened the preparedness of educators, enabling them to respond promptly and effectively in emergencies. More importantly, it reinforced the responsibility teachers carry in safeguarding the health and well-being of every child entrusted to their care—an extension of the Catholic call to serve and protect the vulnerable.
