Risking Resurrection: Joy of Being Human

What does it mean to risk resurrection in ordinary life? How do we embrace the fullness of our humanity—our joy, vulnerability, hope, and longing—as the very place where God meets us?

Dr. Kevin McClone will guide participants through key themes of psychospiritual transformation, exploring how growth, healing, and deeper self-knowledge open us to authentic joy. Resurrection is not simply a theological idea—it is a lived process of becoming more fully human and more deeply free.

Through presentation, personal reflection, and small-group dialogue, participants will be invited to consider how these pathways unfold within their own vocation, leadership, and ministry.

We are especially grateful to be collaborating with the Wheaton Franciscans, who have generously offered their beautiful and reflective space for this gathering—an environment that invites prayer, contemplation, and meaningful conversation.

This event is open to religious, associates, collaborators, and lay formators who desire time to reflect, renew, and reconnect with the joy at the heart of their vocation and mission.

When: Friday, May 1, 2026 | 10:00 am to 3:00 pm CT

Where: Wheaton Franciscans, 26W171 Roosevelt Road, Entrance #5, Wheaton, IL 60187

Cost: $65 (members), $80 (non-members). Light lunch included. This session will not be recorded.
