The Religious Formation Conference (RFC) announces the spring series of Ongoing Formation Circles (OFC). This virtual program, scheduled for three Wednesday evenings (March 11, April 8, and May 13), brings together women and men religious to delve deeper into the topics that are important to religious life in the 21st century.
In her groundbreaking book, Religious Women as Global Migrants to the United States: Critical Conversations About Spirituality, Mental Health, and Vocational Identity (2025), Sister Chioma Ahanihu, SLW explores the complex realities of religious life in an increasingly global, multicultural, and mobile world. Her work invites all who serve in formation and religious life to engage deeply with the inner and communal dimensions of spirituality, well-being, and vocation in contexts shaped by migration, diversity, and cultural encounter.
OFC offers a space for reflective dialogue, shared wisdom, and mutual accompaniment across cultures and generations. Each 90-minute session will include a short presentation by Sister Chioma, small-group discussion, and large-group sharing. Participants are invited to bring their lived experiences, questions, and hopes for religious life today.
Fee for the series: $30 RFC members, $45 non-members. For more information and to register, visit relforcon.org/circles.
